May the stars carry your sadness away. May the flowers fill your heart with beauty. May hope forever wipe away your tears, and, above all, may silence make you strong.
I was reading the obituaries in the BYU alumni magazine a few months ago, and saw Brad's name. I googled him to find out what had happened, then called my cousin Melanie, who was his good friend in high school (he was in Del Rio, TX. she was in San Antonio. They were in the same stake). I met him first in TX, and then saw him a few times when we were all at BYU. Finding out about Brad made me both sad that he had passed, but also happy that he had achieved so many of his dreams.
