Is my husband the only one who has a "work wife"? I guess, I should explain. There is a lady that Bryce works with, who calls him several times a week to talk about her life and all of her problems. Of course, Bryce is too nice to say anything to her, but it is starting to tick me off. Does anyone else have to deal with this?

This would never happen to my husband. My husband is VERY nice, but he would say, "I have work to do, I can't talk." It's also NICE to tell a person that you aren't interested in that type of a relationship when you aren't. I really wouldn't want to be telling my life story to some MARRIED man ESPECIALLY if he wasn't interested in hearing what I had to say. He needs to do her a favor and ask her to confide her life in someone single and available.
I read about these types of women on Dear Abby. And even if your husband isn't interested, there is something wrong with her. Seriously. He needs to do her a favor and let her go.
He can be nice about it. It IS during the work day so if he just says, "I need to be working right now" enough times she will eventually call someone else.
I agree with heatherlyn, he should not have to take time away from you and the kids to hear about her life. she needs to stop and find someone else to talk to.
Is she a co-worker or patient? Caller-ID is perfect for situations like this and if it's important than she'll leave a message, right? :)
Maybe he could just start screening her calls...she'd get the hint, right? I hope she gets a clue!!
